Bulacan Bamboocraft was established in March 2005 at Plaridel, Bulacan.
The Company manufactures religious items using images made of lahar from Mt. Pinatubo, and bamboo frames decorated with different kinds and colors of ropes made of indigenous materials that can be found in the Philippines.
Souvenir items are produced for balikbayans and foreign tourists as well as local tourists all over the country. The Company also produces bamboo packaging materials for wine and bottle products and other products that need native presentation. It also makes home décors such as bamboo vases, novelty items, desk accessories and other functional items made of bamboo. It introduced the modern design of the traditional Filipino way of saving, the “arkansya” which the Company gave the name Bamboobank. Because of its new look, it is now accepted as home décor in urban places like Metro Manila.
All the bamboo products have total protection from insect pests such as “Bukbok” (Powder Post Beetles) and “Anay” (Ambrosia Beetles). The chemicals used are safe, non-toxic and registered with the Fertilizer and Pesticides Authority. All chemicals bear the Green Label for Safety.
The Company has outlets in Metro Manila, Bulacan, Cavite, Pampanga and Subic. It accepts made to order give away items for all occasions such as wedding, baptism, birthday, anniversary, Christmas, etc. It can make designs exclusively for such occasion. It also accepts made to order furnitures.
The Company has established its identity as maker of high quality products with unique designs at reasonable prices. The Company also provides jobs to ordinary farm workers who are given the opportunity to show their God-given talents using their unique designs and excellent craftsmanship.
